Our First Aid level 1 course is very popular as it introduces people into Emergency Care and is usually the minimum requirement to be met by Companies when being inspected by the various governing bodies

Duration:

1 – 1,5 Days (12 Hours)

Course Content:

  • Principals of Emergency Care and Safety
  • Emergency Scene Management
  • Artificial Respiration
  • One Rescuer Adult C.P.R
  • Choking
  • Wounds and Bleeding
  • Shock, Unconsciousness and Fainting
  • Fractures
  • Burns
  • Head and Spinal Injuries
  • Legal Implications and Ethics Related to Emergency Care

Evaluation:

  • 50% Theoretical & 50% Practical
  • The candidate is evaluated during the duration of the course
  • a Compulsory pass in C.P.R and A.R is Required

First Aid Level 2

Our First Aid level 2 course goes into more detail than level 1 (Treatment of Paediatric Patient etc)

Duration:

2 Days (16 Hours)

  • Drowning and Diving Injuries
  • Elementary and Applied Anatomy, Physiology

First Aid Level 3

Our First Aid level 3 course is the most advanced First Aid qualification that can be achieved.  Medicare 911 recommends that all supervisors working with large companies get trained up to level 3 as this will ensure a very high standard of patient care and help reducee further injury at the place of emplyment.

Duration:

4 – 5 Days (24 Hours)

Course Content:

  • All contents from level 2 including a few additional chapters
  • Emergency Childbirth
  • Behavioural Emergencies
  • Special Patiens and Oxygen Therapy

Evaluation:

  • The candidate is evaluated during the duration of the course
  • There is a written, oral and practical examination
  • Passmark for each componant is 50%
  • An overall average of 60% must be obtained to complete the course
  • a Compulsory pass in C.P.R and A.R is required

Combined Courses

Our Combined Courses give the candidate, without a valid certificate of the previous level, a chance to combine courses to the highest level

Basic Fire Fighting

Our Basic Fire Fighting Course explains in details teh properties of a fire, the way a fire is transported and how to fight a fire wth demonstration.

Occupational Health and Safety

Our Occupational Health and Safety Cours explains how to participate in the nomination and election of a SH & E representative, do thorough inspection of a designated area, identify and report any hazards to prevent injusry, complete the relevant forms effectively and make representation at meetings regarding safety, health and environmental issues in the workplace.
